Save the date! May 23rd is quickly approaching

We are only one week away from the Opening Day of the Local Works Farmers' Market.  Tents went up beautifully on Wednesday, blew down on Thursday, and partially went back up on Friday.  A special thanks to Lauren and her posse of girls for all of their help this week, from struggling with the flying tents to stuffing seed packets for the Zucchini Races later on this summer.

Opening day is shaping up to be quite fun.  There will be many familiar faces from last year as well as many new ones.  Ian Galipeau is returning with his guitar to kick off the season (for more of Ian's music, sign up to become a fan of Affirmative Jackson on Facebook and MySpace) and we have a great group of volunteers from White Mountain Regional who will be helping with face painting and balloon animals for all of the kids.

Can't wait!
